Hotel Columbia is conveniently situated in the heart of the historic centre of Rome, between the Opera House and the last bastion of the Diocletian Baths. It is within walking distance to Termini, the main railway station where taxis, buses and the subway can be taken to all places of interest. From Hotel Columbia every major monument and tourist attraction is easily reached by a short walk.

Breakfast is served from 7.00am to 10.00am during week days and 7.30am to 10.30am during weekends and public holidays. For a relaxing morning, book room service the night before with an additional cost.
At the Hotel Columbia in Rome we offer a complimentary rich buffet breakfast on our 5th floor. Tea, coffee, cappuccino from our professional Astoria coffee machine. Breakfast includes jams, pastries, cakes, breads, charcuterie, cheese platter, juices, cereals and yoghurts. For breakfast we also offer products bought through the fair trade network. Good for consumers, good for the growers and for the environment.

Fair Trade Products at the Columbia:

  • Hampstead tea

  • Raw sugar “dulcita” produced in Ecuador. It is not refined, rich of mineral salts, iron and it is not whitened chemically.

  • Raw sugar “mascobado” produced in the Philippines. It has a particular consistency of small granules and reminds a liquorice taste.

  • Mango, ananas and papaya jams from Ecuador and Kenya

  • Sesame bars “Pequena” from Paraguay and Nicaragua

The bar is open all day up to 23.00h (during high season the bar will be open up to 24.00h).
